Payment Account with Basic Services

General

In accordance with the Decision of National Bank of Serbia on Payment Account with Basic Services, which applies from August 19th 2022, HALKBANK ad. Belgrade, from specified date, enables opening and maintenance of Payment Account with Basic Services.

Benefits

The Package Payment Account with Basic Services includes the following services::

  • opening, maintaining and closing a dinar payment account
  • cash payment to the payment account and withdrawal of cash from the payment account at counters, ATMs and other similar devices of the Bank
  • payment transaction execution services, i.e. transfer of funds from the payment account, that is, to the payment account
  • establishment and use of electronic or mobile banking services - unlimited number of transactions
  • issuing and using a debit payment card - DinaCard debit card
  • delivery of notifications related to completed payment transactions

The Package Payment Account with Basic Services includes the following additional services, which are available at the client's request:

  • credit card
  • overdraft
  • cheques
  • opening and maintaining a foreign currency payment account

Terms and Conditions

The Bank will allow clients who have legal residence in the Republic of Serbia to open and use a payment account with basic services if they meet the following conditions:

  • they do not have an open payment account in any bank
  • they only have an account that serves exclusively to collect funds for loan repayment, i.e. loan servicing or loan maintenance or as a means of security and/or a special purpose bank account for the purpose of paying out funds acquired on the basis of special regulations, and which is not used for making other payments transaction
  • as well as to their clients who have an open payment account and request the opening of a payment account with basic services while simultaneously submitting a request to close all other payment accounts

Questions

To open a current account, you need to submit a completed Request for Current Account Opening and your ID document.

The fee is charged if minimum one activity is recorded in the account in a particular month.
