The new branch of HALKBANK a.d. Belgrade in Sremska Mitrovica was officially opened on Friday, November 18, 2022.

At the opening ceremony, to the present clients, members of the Bank’s management and to the Mayor of the city of Sremska Mitrovica, Mrs. Svetlana Milovanović, in behalf of the Bank,  the member of the Executive Board, Mrs. Dušica Erić, gave a speech. In her speech, she thanked for the long-term support and trust in the work of the Bank, and emphasized the importance of opening a branch in this, very fertile land of Serbia.

Besides Dušica Erić, the regional manager for Northern Serbia, Srđan Petrović, gave a speech and to the guests has spoken, the branch director, Mrs. Slobodanka Šorak, also.

The Sremska Mitrovica branch is the 39th branch in line in Serbia, and 7th in Vojvodina. As a special offer for the population, the Bank has prepared welcome loans with special conditions. The emphasis of the Sremska Mitrovica Branch will be on providing financial and advisory support, both to the population and farmers, as well as for the small and medium-sized enterprises in that region.

The official opening of the branch was followed by representatives of local media companies.
