Director of the Marketing and Sales Department for agro clients at HALKBANK a.d. Belgrade, Mirjana Mijailović participated in a panel discussion organized on May 20TH by the Competitive Agriculture Project of Serbia at the Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.
The topic of the panel was the financial model of the Serbian Competitive Agriculture Project, as support for the development of primary agricultural producers.
On that occasion, Mirjana Mijailović pointed out that HALKBANK has a simple process of realizing loans for agricultural producers, which farmers greatly appreciate.
Since 2021, HALKBANK has been part of the Competitive Agriculture Project of Serbia, which aims to improve the competitiveness of family farms, cooperatives, associations and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, over whom potential users can achieve a return of 50% of the value of a specific investment project in agriculture.
The experiences from the cooperation so far have been evaluated very positively by both sides and will continue through the next public calls for users in 2024.
By expanding the branch network, HALKBANK provides fast and efficient support to agricultural producers from rural areas, which are precisely the target group of the Competitive Agriculture of Serbia project.
